Match Report
Stenhousemuir strengthened their survival bid with victory over Division Two promotion hopefuls Ayr United.
Stuart Bannigan gave Ayr the lead on five minutes with a fine strike from 12 yards but Stenny's Scott Dalziel levelled with a 36th-minute drive.
The hosts took control after the break with Jordan Smith heading Sean Dickson's cross into the bottom corner.
Alex Williams slotted home Stenny's third from the penalty spot after Dalziel had been fouled in the box.
