Airdrieonians moved out of the Scottish League One relegation zone with victory over nine-man Ayr United.

The hosts opened the scoring on the half-hour mark when Craig Barr fired into the bottom corner.

Ayr had Adam Hunter sent off for serious foul place before half-time and Liam Watt shot home Airdrie's second.

Kyle McAusland was dismissed for conceding a penalty and Keigan Parker netted from 12 yards to round off the scoring.
