Ayr United missed the chance to go top of the Scottish Championship after a goalless draw away to Greenock Morton.
The Honest Men edged the first half, with Ross Docherty's headed goal disallowed and Michael Moffat denied by goalkeeper Robby McCrory.
Charlie Telfer's blocked effort after a nice passage of play was the hosts' best opportunity.
The action was more drab in the second half, but Ayr's Lawrence Shankland did hit the foot of the post late on.
Ross County remain two points clear at the top with a game in hand, with Dundee United now one point behind Ayr after their 1-0 win away to Queen of the South.
Sixth-placed Morton are still looking for their first win since 4 January.
Greenock Morton manager Jonatan Johansson: "A good point and a good performance against a good side whose strikers have been firing a lot of goals.
"I'm happy with the work-rate and shape. Second-half, we looked dangerous on the counter-attack. We grew into the game."
Ayr United manager Ian McCall: "We had two or three really good chances in the first half.
"Robby McCrorie's made three great saves, but our goalie hasn't had a save to make.
"Ultimately, because of what the players have done over a long period of time, we'll class that as a bad result.
"We've just got to stay in there. There are a lot of games to go."
