Ayr United battled to an entertaining 3-3 draw with Ross County at the Global Energy Stadium on 8 November 2025 in a Championship thriller that had goals, momentum swings and no shortage of drama. The Honest Men showed real character away from home, recovering from setbacks and staying in the game throughout a fiercely contested afternoon.
Ross County made the early running in a contest that quickly developed into an open and unpredictable affair. Ayr responded with purpose, keeping pressure on the home defence and creating enough chances to remain a constant threat, with the visitors registering more possession and more shots on target.
As the game wore on, both sides looked capable of finding a winner, but neither could land the decisive blow. In the end, a share of the spoils felt like a fair reflection of two committed attacking performances in one of the more eventful fixtures of Ayr’s season.
