Match Report
Two late goals from Robert Barr and David McFarlane swept Third Division Albion Rovers to a surprise win away to Ayr United in the Alba Challenge Cup.
Ayr missed a host of chances, with Kenny Connolly electing to square the ball when clean through, while keeper Jamie Ewings denied Ryan Stevenson.
But it was Rovers who struck in the 79th minute when Barr cut inside to lash home a wonder strike.
And new signing McFarlane fired home from a tight angle five minutes later.
