Match Report
William Easton's second-half goal ensured Ayr United moved top of Division Two as Alloa Athletic were beaten at home.
The two sides, who were level on points going into the game, cancelled each other out for most of the match.
But the visitors found a crucial breakthrough in the 64th minute when Ryan McCann's cross was headed home by William Easton.
And Alloa were unable to level the score as they slipped to fourth.
