Match Report
Gavin Swankie netted a brace as Forfar Athletic edged out Ayr United in an entertaining Somerset Park tussle.
The visitors took the lead on 13 minutes when Swankie turned in Dale Hilson's cross but Ayr hit back through a fierce shot from Craig Malcolm.
Chris Templeman's strike restored Forfar's lead on the brink of half-time only for Martyn Campbell to later bundle in a leveller from close range.
But Swankie hit the winner with on 67 minutes with a firm shot.
