Match Report
Gary McDonald and Andrew Rodgers scored second-half goals as Peterhead saw off Ayr in League One.
Ayr's David Robertson had a shot brilliantly saved by Graeme Smith and at the other end keeper David Hutton kept out David Cox's header as the first half ended goalless.
McDonald broke the deadlock when he nodded in Jordon Brown's free-kick.
And Rodgers made certain of the win from the penalty spot after Nicky Devlin was penalised for a foul.
