Match Report
Peterhead moved above Ayr United into second place in Scottish League One thanks to a win at Somerset Park.
Shane Sutherland rifled home the opening goal for Peterhead, but Craig Moore's low shot from the centre of the area found the net three minutes later.
Rory McAllister restored Peterhead's lead four minutes before the break with another well-placed low shot.
Ayr dominated after the break but had no clear-cut chances, even after Scott Ross was sent off late on.
