lloa Athletic guaranteed themselves another season in the Scottish Championship after a draw away to promotion-chasing Ayr United.
With Queen of the South beaten 3-0 at home to Partick Thistle, the point was enough to lift Alloa out of the relegation play-off spot.
The league's only part-time side took a deserved lead when Connor Shields fired home his third goal of the season.
But Lawrence Shankland drove in a reply four minutes later.
The striker's 34th goal of the season was not enough to prevent Ayr slipping to fourth behind Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who defeated Dunfermline Athletic 1-0.
Ian McCall's side face Caley Thistle in the promotion play-off quarter-final.
