Match Report
Two goals in two minutes cemented Raith Rovers' place in the third promotion play-off spot in Division Two with victory away to Ayr United.
Ricky Waddell, Paul Weaver, Ryan Stevenson and Gareth Wardlaw all wasted good half chances for the home side.
But Marvin Andrews headed towards goal and Paul McManus made sure by hammering home on the goalline after 72 minutes.
Rovers' second came on the break, with on-loan Dunfermline winger Craig Wilson firing into the far corner.
Ayr fell 10 points behind the visitors and their misery was completed when goalkeeper Mark McGeown was taken off injured.
