Ayr United tightened their grip on second spot in Division Two with victory over Brechin City.
The visitors were first to settle and, in 18 minutes, a header from Martyn Campbell was cleared off the line by Charlie King.
Four minutes later, King again cleared off the line, this time from a Scott Walker header.
The only goal came on the hour when David Gormley crossed for Bryan Prunty to flick home.
