Match Report
Stuart Bannigan scored twice as Ayr United beat fellow promotion chasers Forfar Athletic in Division Two.
Bannigan converted Andy Rodgers' pass to put Ayr ahead on eight mintues and Mark Roberts quickly fired a second for the home side.
Michael Bolochoweckyj nodded home Martyn Fotheringham's inswinging corner to reduce Forfar's deficit with 15 minutes remaining.
But Bannigan capitalised on a defensive error to clinch Ayr's win late on.
