Ayr United closed the gap on second-placed Inverness Caledonian Thistle to one point in the Scottish Championship with a narrow victory over the Highland side.
Stephen Kelly's effort on 61 minutes was enough for the hosts, who had 18 shots at goal but just three on target.
It moves Mark Kerr's men within touching distance of Inverness and five points away from Dundee.
John Robertson's side sit 18 points off leaders Dundee United.
