Match Report
Cowdenbeath dashed Ayr United's hopes of promotion by completing an aggregate victory in the Championship play-off semi-final.
Leading 2-1 from the first leg, Cowden took the lead through Kane Hemmings before he set up Greg Stewart to convert from a difficult angle.
Michael Donald pulled one back for Ayr from close range.
But Tom O'Brien rounded keeper David Hutton to complete the scoring for the hosts.
The Central Park side will face Dunfermline over two legs with a place in the Championship the prize for the eventual winner.
