James Redman's late header rescued Peterhead a draw at Ayr.
Ayr's Jordan Preston and Jordan Preston squandered early chances, then Peterhead's Shane Sutherland went close.
Nicky Devlin broke the deadlock when he headed home Brian Gilmour's corner.
Redman's equaliser came when he rose highest to head home Kevin Dzierzawski's corner, and Gilmour could have grabbed a winner for Ayr late on but Peterhead held on.
