Match Report

Jermaine Hylton's late strike earned Arbroath their second Scottish Championship win in a row against Ayr United.

Jay Bird had the hosts in front before having to go off midway through the first half.

Ayr managed to draw level seconds before the break as Michael Rose nodded in the equaliser, but with eight minutes to go Hylton pounced.

Arbroath surge to sixth while Ayr stay ninth.
