Match Report

Partick Thistle put an end to a three-game losing streak in the Scottish Championship by thumping Ayr United.

Zak Rudden's header opened the scoring at Firhill before Cammy Smith nodded in a second just before the break.

Rudden added his second and Thistle's third with another header, as Brian Graham completed the rout with a finish from the edge of the box late on.

The win leaves the hosts fifth, but keeps them within two points of the play-off spots.
