Ayr United closed the gap on Second Division leaders Raith Rovers to five points after coming from behind to win.
The relegation-threatened visitors took the lead in the 35th minute thanks to a Steven Weir penalty after David Gormley handled a Colin Cameron free-kick.
Ayr equalised a minute before the break when Alex Williams drilled home from close range.
Ryan Stevenson cut inside before swerving home a spectacular 30-yarder to clinch the points on 63 minutes.
