Substitute Mark Roberts' last-gasp penalty earned Ayr a point in a draw against Peterhead.
Roberts blasted the penalty straight down the middle after Neil McVitie had handled inside the area.
The visitors took the lead after 11 minutes through Paul Emslie's strike after good work from Dennis Wyness.
Emslie was sent off in 78th minute for a foul on midfielder Steven McLaughlin and the 10 men had looked like holding on until Roberts' late strike.
