Match Report
Two late penalties from skipper Bobby Mann helped secure a controversial win for Peterhead at Somerset Park.
Referee Chris Boyle gave both spot kicks in the dying seconds and sent off Ayr's Eddie Forrest for protesting.
A Callum MacDonald header gave the visitors a half time lead and Ayr goalkeeper Mark McGeown was kept busy.
The penalties were both conceded by Murray Henderson for soft fouls on Mann and Stuart McKay and buried with ease by the Peterhead captain.
