Full Results Against York City

Ayr United played York City in a pre-season tournament at Livingston’s Almondvale Stadium on 20th July 1997. York City were returning to the competition having been finalists the previous season.

The Minster Men had also only escaped relegation the previous season, finishing 20th in Division 3.

The score was a stale 0-0 draw.

A combined programme for the tournament was produced..
