Match Report
Dylan Easton's stunning first-minute goal was enough to give Raith Rovers victory over Ayr United in the Scottish Championship.
The midfielder spotted goalkeeper David Mitchell off his line and found the net with an inventive chip from 30 yards after an early mix-up in the Ayr defence.
It was Easton's fifth goal in three games and seventh of the season.
United were outfought in the first half, but the home side rallied with the wind at their back in the second.
Ayr had scored seven goals in two League Cup wins at home, but Barry Robson's side denied them a breakthrough this time.
It leaves Scott Brown's home side with a hugely disappointing start to the season with just one point from a possible six.
