Ayr United missed a chance to move back into third place in the Scottish Championship after being held at home by fifth-top Arbroath.
On-loan Rangers midfielder Stephen Kelly scored directly from wind-assisted corner to give Ayr the lead.
But Michael McKenna equalised three minutes after the break, converting a penalty after being fouled by Sam Roscoe-Byrne.
Ayr end a run of three straight defeats but have now not won in four outings.
Leaders United beat Morton to go 10 points clear
Mark Kerr's side draw level with Dunfermline Athletic, who jumped above Ayr at the weekend, but remain behind on goal difference.
Arbroath, who were denied by the crossbar twice in the closing stages, remain three points behind and unbeaten in four games.
