Match Report

Andy Ryan scored a late winner as Dunfermline Athletic beat Ayr United to post their first home Scottish Championship win of the season.

Greg Kiltie put the hosts ahead but Ayr levelled two minutes before the break through a Lee Ashcroft own goal.

Alan Forrest's sixth goal in five games gave the visitors the lead, but Ashcroft redeemed himself with a splendid volley before Ryan slotted in.

A draw would have put managerless Ayr top, but instead they remain second.
