Goals: Ian Harper (70 and 80).
The opening goal should have been disallowed. The referee was looking in a different direction when Ian Harper controlled the ball with his arm in the build-up. There were furious protests from the Alloa players. Ten minutes later Willie Japp crashed the ball off the crossbar and Harper was on his knees when he headed it into the net. Alloa had Willie Taylor sent off for a bad challenge on Willie Japp.
